Advance Welding and Fabricating was formed in 1984 by Mae and Richard Boyer. In 1985, the partners purchased the assets of Pinkerton Boiler Works and relocated to Green Island (within 5 miles of Albany, NY).

Advance Welding and Fabricating is strategically partnered with Custom Fabricators LLC, a 31,500 square foot facility located in Cobleskill, NY, Tube Pipe and Steel Fabricators, an 8,000 square foot facility in Middleburgh, NY, and a 2,500 square foot machine shop in Glenmont, NY, allowing for additional service and materials offerings.

In the past two decades, Advance Welding and Fabricating has extended well beyond their original charter for boiler work, and has developed long term, repeat business by focusing on client needs, schedules, and budgets – including end-user customers, contractors, and engineering firms.
